Pictures and details of the Mercedes-Benz S-class S600 have leaked online ahead of the car’s official reveal at the Detroit motor show next week.
The S600 will top the standard S-class line-up, sitting below the AMG versions in the range.
A specification sheet leaked alongside these pictures indicates the S600 will be powered by a twin-turbocharged 6.0-litre V12 engine developing 516bhp and 612lb ft of torque. That same engine also powers the range-topping 621bhp S65 AMG.
The S600’s engine is linked to Mercedes’ seven-speed automatic transmission. The specification sheet shows the S600 should be capable of around 25mpg.
Reportedly taken from a Mercedes-Benz brochure, these images show the S600 model gets few visual changes over the standard S-class, aside from new quadruple exhaust exits and V12 badging.
